Hello and welcome to my website. I am Luke Wicks, a professional photographer based in South Yorkshire and I photograph in all parts of the UK and abroad.

Photography is not just a job for me, but a passion and that’s why in the 8 years I’ve been capturing moments I soon gained a reputation as a dependable and committed photographer. Approximately eight years ago in my early twenties I had an itch to buy a camera and learn the skill of photography. This led on to me being invited to photograph events throughout the country’s club scene shooting artists like Example, Calvin Harris, and Paul Van Dyk. This fantastic experience allowed me to use creative photography angles whilst having fun with the bright lights and dim club scene settings. It was this experience that led me into Weddings, a contact in the Events Scene insisted that I’d be the photographer at his wedding, and although this initially seemed daunting the experience was very positive. From that day, my interest in Wedding Photography came alive and I decided to prioritise this as my key focus, along with my other specialisms of Commercial and Motorsport work, which I also have a background and deep-rooted interests in.

Fast forward to my current age of 31, I pride myself on being self-taught with a natural flare for my craft; I have perfected my own individual style through trial and error and always aim to excel my customer’s expectations and leave a long lasting impression.

Renowned for my professionalism, commitment to customers and a real passion for what I do, it’s easy to see why my clients come back to me time and time again. My services are always non-intrusive and communication is always paramount throughout the duration of each project.

When it comes to coverage I’m happy to travel to anywhere, I’ve had clients in Scotland, London, and covered a wedding in Greece, so travel is no issue at all.
